Yuzu soy sauce hotpot kit (with ramen)

The ramen shop's serious hot pot set is back! The soup now contains significantly more seafood than before! It's even more delicious with a stronger dashi flavor.

This chicken and seafood soup is made by combining AFURI's proud chicken clear broth with a large amount of seafood (dried sardines, bonito flakes, grilled flying fish, kelp, etc.) and seasoning it with a special soy sauce sauce. By adding fragrant freshly squeezed yuzu juice from Kochi Prefecture, an elegant aroma is created, allowing you to enjoy a luxurious yuzu soy sauce hot pot.

The special chicken meatballs are made with fresh ground chicken and cartilage, and are kneaded with plenty of ginger, which will warm you right up.

You can also add your favorite ingredients such as seasonal vegetables, seafood, pork, and chicken to create your own original yuzu soy sauce hot pot. Of course, you can finish off your hot pot with yuzu soy sauce ramen. We provide convenient individually wrapped noodles for your convenience.

<Recommended ingredients>
It goes well with a wide range of ingredients, including Chinese cabbage, chrysanthemum, mizuna, shiitake mushrooms, shimeji mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, pork belly (for shabu-shabu), chicken thighs, shirataki, and green onions. It also goes well with a wide range of other ingredients, including seasonal vegetables, seafood, and fish paste.

▼How to eat (delicious recipe included) 1 serving (double the amount for 2-3 servings)

① Heat one packet of chicken and seafood soup in a hot water bath or similar and dissolve it in advance. Do the same with one bottle of yuzu juice. Also, cut up the prepared ingredients (meat, seafood, vegetables, etc.) into even pieces.

② Add the chicken and seafood soup to the pot. If you are having this ramen as a final dish, leave about 100g aside for later.

3. Add the prepared ingredients and 4 chicken meatballs to a pot and heat.

④ Once it starts to boil and the ingredients are cooked, pour the yuzu juice (from one citrus fruit) over the entire pot and it's done. Enjoy!

Add the soup that you left over from step ② of the final ramen to the pot. If the amount of soup seems small, add hot water until the noodles are swimming in it. Turn the heat to high, and when the pot is boiling, add one frozen ball of noodles and cover. When steam starts to rise, remove the lid and adjust the heat to boil for 1.5 to 2 minutes (4 to 4.5 minutes for medium-thick noodles) until the noodles are cooked to your desired firmness. After that, adjust the flavor with the included flavor adjustment sauce, and finish by adding yuzu juice to create an even more fragrant ramen.

※One extra step※
You can either parboil the noodles before using, or thaw them in the refrigerator and rinse them under running water before adding them to the pot, allowing you to finish the soup without thickening it.

You can also make your own porridge with the soup left over after the ramen. I recommend adding green onions and mitsuba and topping it off with beaten eggs. Please give it a try.
