One of the sources of spiciness in Karakurenai Ramen is the all-purpose spicy miso known as Yuzu Karakurenaijan.
It is not only spicy, but also sweet, bitter, and umami from miso and garlic, and is matured with the flavor of yuzu. It can be used to add spiciness to ramen, as well as gyoza, stir-fried vegetables, grilled meat, miso soup, cup noodles, and many other things. It is also perfect as a spiciness for our popular hot pot products (Yuzu Shio Hot Pot/Spicy Red Hot Pot Kit)! It comes in a generous 100g pack.
